North Star Nature Suites™ is an intimate, adults-only micro-resort with just eight private Nature Suites™ thoughtfully nestled across fifty-five acres in the Tennessee mountains. It was intentionally created for couples seeking something quieter than a traditional hotel and more refined than a typical cabin.

We’re outside of Sparta, Tennessee on a private mountainside that is surrounded by 60,000 acres of state protected land.
Our standard minimum stay is two nights, giving you the time to truly slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the rare luxury of uninterrupted time together. Occasionally, limited one-night stays may become available. Check availability on the booking page.
Check-in is from 3pm to 7pm CT.
Check-out is at 10am CT.
Early check-in and late check-out is available.

Yes. While North Star does not have an on-site restaurant, we offer a thoughtfully curated provisioning service so everything can be waiting for you when you arrive.

Yes. Due to the elevated and secluded mountain setting, a 4WD or AWD vehicle is required. If you do not have one, we will provide a complimentary 4WD UTV for use on our private road throughout your stay.
